Old Radio(s) ID

An estate sale next week has these two radios. I was wondering if anybody can identify them. The bottom one looks like a Telefunken. Any ideas?

I don't know about the set on the bottom shelf, but the clock radio above it was made by Bendix. The name is visible on the front panel if you zoom in on the photo.

BTW, that particular model of clock radio was marketed under at least one other name besides Bendix. I think Hallicrafters had a set that looked like this one, and another well-known radio manufacturer of the '50s whose name escapes me at the moment also copied the design. I want to say Capehart, but if I did I'd probably be wrong.

That's definitely a European Telefunken-style set. This will be one of the better sized sets-just compare it to the four-slot toaster below it! It also has stereo sound.

The clock radio above it looks like a late 40s model-I think I see the Bendix logo above the slide dial? Probably a very simple 4 or 5 tube set inside that one.

Looks like one of the Telefunken Allegro sets, late 50's/early 60's. And yes, the clock radio is a Bendix, early 50's I believe.

Bendix & Telefunken, definitely.

scoreless again...

Went to the sale but missed out on the radios. They went pretty fast. It didn't help that there was a AMI juke box and boatloads of beer signs at the same sale. I wasn't willing to camp out all night to be first person in line. Thanks for ID help anyway, everybody. I'll be keeping my eyes open for more in the future.

Hallicrafters did indeed make a radio similar to the Bendix. I have one handy, although the back of it is badly banged up and the front knobs are missing. Have yet to work on it.
