I saved the set, Didn't want to see it go to the landfill. I don't need/want it either. Free to anyone who wants to come get it out of my garage in Troy, MI.

I've tried to donate this set to 3 re-sale shops, goodwill, salvation army and habitat resale but get the same responses " No consoles, No TV's with knobs, Nothing more than 10 years old, no vintage tv's" most places won't even take the time to look at it, could be a rare 50's color set and they would turn it away.

You seriously thought a re-sale place like Salvation Army would take that set?

If you're still planning to trash it, I'll try to take it.
