The RCA Service Company was in operation until approximately 1994. After the sale of RCA to GE, they became combined service centers for both brands. Around the mid 90s they began shutting down the owned and operated factory service centers, and began shifting over to a network of independent authorized service centers.

In mid 2009, with the sale of RCA to a Chinese company, the RCA service organization ceased to exist entirely.
