It's a roundie again!
Been working hard getting this TV put back together. It's not a '63 original because it has a 25MC33 chassis. I guess now it's a 1965 "Warren" model. I had a spare 25mc33 chassis, bezel, etc.. I pulled from a poor condition, damaged cabinet back in '04. Came out of a Barn and really showed it's age and horrible storage condition. Luckily everything lined up without needing to drill any mounting holes, Even the chassis bolt locations matched! I still have the '63 bezel, convergence board, tuner and misc stuff so if I ever find a 63 chassis I can get it back to 100% original. At least for now it's a '65 roundie and it works and looks great.

That looks fantastic
Nice picture too ....When grief kicks it really does throw you and affects your thinking/thought processes, don't be too hard on yourself for initally gutting that set and putting a modern chassis inside, and like you said if the original chassis had all those problems and then caught fire, I don't blame you for getting drastic with it. What you've done with it now is great, there's nothing like making a modification that works so well. Cheers Glen
