It sounds like the CRT is being over-driven. I also noticed all the references to this model, such as tube compliment, etc refer to a CTC12. not a CTC15. There's a considerable difference. Look around the blanker and color difference amp circuits as well.

Good point, 15 uses the JE6. I totally spaced that and Im looking at the schematics. Duh....
