Clowns in old TV ad's

If I was a kid and saw this on the screen I'd scream and hide under the bed, and never turn on the TV again!

Might make a dandy Avatar though!

I can see why clowns frighten so many people, they don't scare me, I just think they're in bad taste. I'd just scream "Get that trash off my Magnavox!"

I was in Australia with my grandson and the Easter Bunny walked up to his stroller whilst I was putting groceries into the car. The little guy screamed and started crying, he was 15 months old. Bunny turned and politely walked away. And a very sophisticated elderly lady walked up to me and said, "Wait until he sees Father Christmas!" I felt bad for the little guy but inside of me, when that lady said that , I LMAO!

I didn't know that politicians could time travel back to those days , put them selves on the screen of a tv in an ad and then travel back to the present time, i guess they finally have control of the time tunnel.

Make me think of Crikey The Clown off Agro's Cartoon Connection http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_gdXMjC3QQ which was an Aussie cartoon show I use to watch as a kid lol. Never been afraid of clowns, I use to think they were just dumb lol. Just had a funny thought and that is to take that picture advert and superimpose a picture of America's insult comedian Yucko The Clown http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8c97vzkoG3Q over the original picture and photo edit the superimposed picture to match that of the advert to make it look like the real deal lol.

Makes me think of that movie 'It' based on Stephen King's book about a demonic clown that would lure small children into the sewers and well you can pretty much figure out the rest...

Even worse if you were a kid living just a few miles away from him back in the 70s like I did. Once his old address leaked out, it became a macabre tourist attraction. Even after it was torn down.
