great, now you can get on with it. I would doubt the 4v diff has any effect. does it have a thermistor or other inrush limiter? (maybe the fusistor is the same thing).

With todays line voltages being what they are, I'd bet that CRT would be fine in there. We'll see what your investigations and troubleshooting show up. Hopefully, the flyback will be okay.
