It's faith based Audio, you believe it works so it does.
What's to keep someone from hacking open one of those little boxes and duplicating it anyhow, not that there would be much point in it.
What really bugs me is the price of certain tubes being driven up astronomically because someone said that Black plates, or Square Getters, or Brown bases etc... sound so much better.
Funny thing is there are claims like that for almost any configuration of tube you can imagine. The ones that sound best are always the ones they are selling.
