I think she looks real good . i agree it'd be best not to turn the contrast and brightness up too high on something like this even if all voltages are on par w/ the schem's. crt and h.v section will be eaten up quicker. But then again i'd use it as normally designed (decent pix to the eye) and not sweat it. speaking of which, if u replaced the video out tube i bet the sharpness and contrast are great. remember contrast is a function of gain in the ckt, and youve already got some loss in the phosphor transferrence of its crt...manifesting itself in a decrease of light output for all colors. a new tube here always looks best.
