Dang - there's a camera in my shop

Seeing that the 1B3 socket appears like a coffee cup, I went looking for cookies.

I opened the can up, none too carefully, and found a doughnut.

Of course there was no reason to do that but now the 1B3 plate lead being pretty stiff, pulled the solder cleat right off the fly, breaking the wire. This may stop me from going any further.

Since I do not have the SAMS 264 or fact'ry book for this set, does anyone know the fly's secondary resistance? Is there a solvent to soften the winding glue enough to peel back some of this hair-thin wire to re-connect it?5-15 025.jpg
