I don't really want to get involved in a political debate but that's a bit rich coming from a country where you spend about 3 times as much per head (actual figure needs checking but even if was twice it wouldn't alter the argument) on healthcare as in European countries. Where the health outcomes are no better than in Europe and where a substantial number of citizens are left without adequate healthcare. Hardly surprising that Glaxo are cashing in when everybody else in the US healthcare business is doing the same. "Obamacare" looks like a halfbaked approach that won't solve anything. Not saying any of the European healthcare systems are perfect, not by a long way, but they seem to achieve just as much but with far less expenditure.

What is remarkable about the SK colour TV work is that it predates a UK and European colour broadcast service by more than decade. This is an area where the US truly led the world by a large margin. I will try not to remind folk of CBS color
