The 9-160 series of modules went through many changes & revisions during it's lifetime. That broken jumper and white wire may be normal. The squeal you hear may be caused by a short that's placing a heavy load on the horizontal output circuits; thus, blowing the HOT. Make sure you check all the diodes that are in the area close to the flyback and it might be possible that you have a bad flyback. If that's the case, you'd be better off to find another module. I've used flyback transformers salvaged from other modules; but, a new module would be the best way to go and I'm not so sure that Zenith ever offered that flyback as an individual replacement part.

I did check all the diodes near the flyback and they check good. I have a bad feeling it is the flyback.

I already have an Ebay search setup for that 9-160-06 module. Hopefully a NOS or working one will show up. And I'll just keep that existing module for other parts.
