Unfortunately, yes, people who are not into antique/vintage TV like we are will do this if they have no use for the TV (or if it doesn't work anymore), and if the cabinet was made of real wood and is in decent shape. I once saw a TV that had been modified this way, the chassis having been put out with the trash and the aquarium being mounted behind the CRT safety glass. Anyone who would do this to a good old TV that could be restored obviously does not care about the vintage or antique value of the television.

Hi All;
I just sent a personsl message to this guy.. Telling him that anyone who did this should be boiled in oil or tarred and feathered.. and that he should be ashamed for listing it as such.. It most likely will go on deaf ears, as he just wants the big bucks and doesn't what happens to the set..
