Those phone plug adapters were real common in the 20s. I have a small collection of them since there appear to have been quite a variety of them. I don't see them come up for sale much- I don't think most people know what they are when they find them.

You could probably rig up something with a modern mono phone plug attached to a pair of round crimp fittings that your headphone tips could fit into.
