I hate rust!

i got tired of dealing with rust and nasty paint , this spring i finish my large sand blasting booth ,it sure makes fast work of everything.

They recommend soaking a rag and lying it on the rusty surface. Then, put a plastic bag around it to keep from drying out. I tried it on a small section of the chassis and it work but not as fast as a full dunk.

Any concerns about damaging tube sockets, soft aluminum IF cans, etc ?
