The set is in pretty rough shape with a lot of rust, but for $15 and a few gallons of gas, I decided to go for it.

I have the same model, waiting restoration. It must be a '49 model, as it has the newer RCA knobs.
When I picked up mine, the 5U4 plates were melted down to a small metal glob. Checked the power transformer, and it still seems to be good.
Also, the tuner detent is bad, no clicks.
