As long as they don't see it and say 'Aww but I wanted something from the 50's' or this inspires others to do the same, then mission accomplished.

A friends in-laws had one of them. Sears had been
out for audio abt 10 times & never fixed it. Dirty IC
socket on tuning board, micro IIRC. That made me
a hero & got a 30pk of bud for 5 mn of work
Those Sears / Sanyos from the 80's were damn good sets
unlike the tube jobs. Sorry to see it go but the dog
needs a warm bed.
