It's been fun to follow this restoration thread. When it's all done, I'd send the antique shop owner a pic of it running--people get a kick out of that.

Don't ever do that! Sending a picture of a set working well.
You'll never buy a set like that for a reasonable price. It's bad enough, those money-grubbers, consult the E-place and price their items, accordingly.
Most of these people, don't have a clue, how much skill and effort, it takes to restore a set of this kind. Also, the hundreds of dollars invested, beside the original purchase price.
