That was scary and bizarre to watch. They were really lucky that nobody was there at the time. Also, as valuable as those cars were, probably the rarest of all Corvettes was only a few feet away and survived. It is the only 1983 Corvette in existence.

One article I read said when they were constructing the building 20 years ago they encountered some sink holes and decided to keep building on the site because they thought they had filled them in.
