I'd love to replicate this build. I've been thinking about building a set like this from scratch heavily based on an existing design. The custom PS transformer would be the only item I would not be sure of.

When I read the original post my first thought after "Wow , That's a GREAT project" was that I honestly wondered what was so special about a 5 volt / 6.3 volt / 250 0 250 volt transformer that it had to be custom built ? There are no uncommon voltages there and it would seem that I could likely turn up several of those by rummaging through my boxes of spare radio parts ?
