cool, yea I know that effect, there is an adj pot on the bottom left side (from front) but more likely a cap in the sweep, esp if the pin cush pot does nothing.

There are a few problem caps that I cover in one of my videos on the last one.

Yes, this set like most 12" trinnys has the pin amplitude and pin phase pots on the bottom. Sometimes there are holes in the bottom of the cab to facilitate correction. The horiz amp of my KV-1712 had a few dry parts which caused bowing. Funny part was, if you played with the correction adjustments enough it almost fixed it. But of course, this wouldn't be a sensible repair .
If yours wasn't as close a set to my KV-1205 and KV-1510, I would bite.
These are quality tvs which need saving IMO.
