e-01 were ok but the best solid state sets were e45 and e48.those were made simple with an outstanding crt,although they didnt last too long.3 years was the norm.the 25vdmp22,the finest looking crt ever.very good sets except for crts.i like certain combos.there was e-01 combo here in columbus.crt was very good,had a vertical problem.just a line across the center.they beat the cabinet up moving it but stereo components were there and working properly.40.00.i passed on it.
