Cadillac TV tag

I posted this to the ETF site, but thought I should also post it here on VK. Anyone ever heard of or seen one of these Cadillac branded sets? The distributor, Kelley Kar Co. was located here in Los Angeles until the early '60's.
They were a Ford dealer at that time. I recall, as a youngster, seeing their car commercials on TV. Never heard of Cadillac TV's until a friend sent me this photo.

Wow, the Kelley Kar Company was just one 'K' away from Kontroversy.

There are 2 listings in the Rider TV index for Cadillac Electronics Corp. One in Volume 8 and this model is listed as being in Volume 11.

Wasn't Kelly Kar part of the Kelly Blue Book empire?

Tim,

Thanks for finding the Rider listings for Cadillac Electronics. I checked my Sams Catalog and came up empty. Rider's didn't happen to post a photo of the set?

Dave A.

You are correct. Kelley Blue book was the same Kelley from Kelley Kar Co:

Could it have been some kind of early custom installed TV sets for Cadillac limo's?
