Brasso was gone -- or at least, not in that spot any more. Have a few old cans still around from various garage/shop cleanouts, so I'm good for awhile.
Flitz is a pretty good polish -- as is Simichrome.

I looked at the test gear too, but all the functions/ranges I've already got covered on other gear. Gear I don't have to fix before using. I'm trying to limit projects, but a Predicta has always been high on the list, even if it is an entry-level one.

I didn't remember reading anywhere that they weigh a ton. Especially on top of a ladder.

Yeah, and it's all on the top too, very unwieldy.

the 17" models have a power transformer so they probably weigh as much as the 21" Holiday which doesn't.
