Thanks for the video Dave, I would say mine is working the same as yours. I will now try hooking it up to an FM radio that is in good working condition and see what I can see.
what I did not show on the video is hooking up the marker to the scope, you can see the sine wave amplitude vary with freq. Just the nature of the beast I presume.
