Du Mont 15AP4 data sheet

Does anyone have a data sheet for a Du Mont 15AP4 ?

This CRT is not included in Frank's.

Specs are in the GE tube manual here:

It is basically the same as 15DP4 with the difference being the focus coil and the 15D uses an ion trap.

I have the original DuMont info, from when they first registered the type. The last few pages of the atached .pdf cover it.

Tim and N21XK,

I thank you and my Colony thanks you!

I'm doing pre-restoration research on this set, as I learned years ago, don't start a restoration and then set it aside while doing the research, or parts will get lost, or one will damage something by not knowing how it operates. In that same vein, I'm still trying to buy a lesser set with a Mallory Inductuner, as that tuner is the only part in this set that looks like it ever was pulled for service, and I don't yet understand how it works.

I do wonder why Du Mont chose not to bend the gun and use an ion trap on so late a tube, since that technology was well understood by 1948 when this tube was made. With that said, I can see no ion burns on this translucent face.
