You should be able to trim the plastic shrouds from around the meter end of the fluke probes, exposing a metal banana type plug that will fit the Simpson or the HP. Use an Xacto blade or similar.

The modern versions of banana plugs are usually shrouded for safety, unlike the old days. The old style unshrouded plugs will work in modern meters just fine, but not meet the modern safety ratings.

I found a couple of places that have lead wire, and various test clips and probes. So I think I will just make some up.
