In screen shot looks bright enuf but lacks contrast.
Could be TV or VCR causing it, try a different VCR.
The pix also looks a bit orange so it probably needs a
complete set-up.
These were good sets with some common & usually
manageable problems. Its an early example of the "cube"
design. They sold well due to the small footprint.

Wow! What a nice tv! And it haves a lot of buttons (I like things with many butons). I want one too!

Ya thats what I thought when I saw the screen... Low contrast..... (Might be due to the way the cartoon was shot OR it could be the TV contrast setting,etc)
