I tried to "de-tune" it a bit, but no luck. Attached is a picture with the color all the way down.
This back-story on this set is: I wanted an older, small Sony with a good tube for awhile. Found this one at an estate sale, brought it home, and it lasted all of one hour before the flyback went out. (it managed to take out the regulator IC and the HOT in the process) Had all of that replaced, but now trying to figure out this issue. |

See if its got a little pot named ACC ( automatic color control ).
Try that. Also check the trace under the CL control, you may have banged it working on it. By this vintage sets just used a DC voltage to the jungle IC to vary things so not much to it. 73 Zeno
