My grandparents in their old house in their back bedroom had a 1970s vintage Zenith Chromacolor II set that was in a pretty plain looking console cabinet that had a walnut finish but it had lost its color and I tried fixing it once or twice when I was there at their place when I was younger but they told me not to touch it. And as far as I know my uncle probably tossed it to the landfill (or burried it one of the two) along with a late 1970s vintage RCA Console TV that last time it was used over 10 years ago it still worked and had good sound and picture...
