I won't really get a chance to look at everything till tomorrow after work, they are both still stuffed inside the van. I assume the stand to be original. I'm going to ask my neighbor to help me unload them once I make some space in the garage, it's getting pretty cramped in there.
Did a reverse lookup of the address the sets were found at, name I got back is: Alfred L. Logan, 89 years old (now dead) I wonder if anyone has heard that name, or if he's somehow connected to Philco? My guess will be he's just a guy that bought the sets, but I don't think the proximity of Philco in Philly can be ignored. The Philco #2 plant was only 40 miles from his residence. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/3509...13!2d40.002377 At the very least it explains how he wound up buying Philco, I assume the marketing was pretty heavy for that brand considering it's their back yard and all.
