Okay, now I get the Sams reference. I wasn't familiar with it before. So, it appears that I can get a copy of the original manual for $22 from the website. If the set is as rare as you say, I suppose this may be my only option. If I understand correctly, in that manual will be the "124-???" number that would need to appear on an old remote to ensure it's compatible? Sorry for my confusion.
