Be interesting hearing what he finds out. If I got it, I think the first thing I would do is take take off the back, use my Air Compressor and blow out the dust, test the CRT, and then use the cremey non-grit GoJo hand cleaner all over the outside of the wood cabinet. If its a keeper, certainly would recap it. But also wipe down the inside of the cabinet and stain the inside with Ebony Stain to make the chassis stand out. Oh it sounds like a fun project.
