Yep, me too. I turned the set up slowly on a variac and it arcs and burns the phelonic board on the flyback. I hooked it to my flyback tester and it come up bad there two. The windings ohm out pretty close, but there must be a shirt somewhere? I've heard sometimes those phelonic boards become conductive? Long store short it burned cleaned through the board by the resistor mounted on it.

The second anode wire was also spliced. Anyone know where to buy a few feet of the red anode wire?

The chassis is recapped and the main pcb board is reinstalled. Thanks to Larry for a new flyback, my Predicta is up and running! I need to adjust the yoke to level the picture, so I'll remount the CRT on the cabinet and do some fine adjustments. So excited to have that big 21" floating picture come alive...!
