This is what I'm getting now with a DVD player. Like I said above, I had pretty good video earlier. What happened?

After a little help from another Predicta restorer, I found out that the black plug from the tuner to the main chassis, can be plugged in more than one way. Only one way works right! I've got my video working again, but now I'm trying to figure out where my interference is coming from?

A low grade DVD player and its hooked up by jumper cables to a 300ohm coax converter. So plenty of areas for interference. I'm going to hook up a digital converter box straight to the tuner and see if it's better. Btw, if anyone needs any Predicta parts or tips on restoration, I would definitely recommend Larry Whitlock. He's been restoring predictas for years and has extensive knowledge on these complicated sets. He's given me a lot of invaluable help with the last three predictas I've restored!
