Those component testers are great units. I did have to repair mine recently, though. The battery is not marvelously well secured in mine and it hit one of the terminals for the back light of the LCD breaking it's pad from the trace....That resulted in no back light, and the CPU operating ONLY when the test button was held...Thus it would only show the start screen....A little lead bridging and it is back in the game...I still need to rebuild my home made case for it though...
