I have an 8TR 270? table model. I replaced FT belt with a heavy duty rubber belt on the fine tuning.
Does anyone have a spare restorable set with maybe not too good a cabinet? Mine works, but, has been damaged in transformer. Rust ridden chassis. With a lot of work I had it playing, then, radio quit, and, other problems. HV fly back came out of one not damaged, but, not same shassis. Last time I had it on HV started arcing. Sorry for takin up space on your set. You have a very nice set, there. Bill Cahill

I finally finished the recap on this set. The 10BP4 crt still worked. I had to make substitutions to replace the candohm resistor on the rear of the set. The original was arcing to ground.
