I remember watching NBC football broadcasts in the late '60s-early '70s on channel 3 in Cleveland. The network used a system they termed the "NBC Tracer" in those days; it was probably an early form of slow-motion video. When the system was in use, the words "NBC Tracer" (using the NBC "snake" logo) appeared at the bottom of the viewer's TV screen. I was watching the games in b&w back then, as we didn't get color TV until 1972.
