That connector is used on a lot of japanese TVs that were sold as monitors. The Sony's have them from that time period. It's probably the same pinout, but if it was me, I'd just open it up and check where each pin was going to inside.
The Sony standard can be found online in the Operator Manual for the CPD-9000/1201

Just noticed this since someone necro posted the thread. What is "The Wayback Machine RGB thread?"

I'm a regular contributor to the Shmups forum, so I know about that, but I never saw whatever thread you are talking about on the Wayback Machine.
