Its a GE all tube set. At the time it was the cheapest set you could buy.
Strange sets. They could last forever BUT just barely worked. When we fixed them we only got them to function again, not a full repair like a well built set would get. I do NOT miss working on them 73 Zeno ![]() LFOD ! |

My late mom had a GE 12 inch set like the one in the ebay photo here.I think my late dad bought it from the local Dept store.
I cant remember what I did with it years ago. Surprisingly she got alot of years out of it .GE was a fan of their compactron tubes. |

These portable sets were sold in Germany, too.
They were sold under Kuba/Imperial (which was later in US hands) and Graetz. The front with knobs will be different, but the back is the same. It works with PY 81/PL 81 (HV) and there is asbestos in it to save the line transformer. Happy weekend, TV-Collector
