I’ve done some cable release exposures with tripods and a few without. I think my record is 1/4 sec with a 50 mm lens (120 format) hand held, and it came out. Tripod and cable releases make night time so much fun, esp with slow film. If anyone wsnts, Ill post examples...

When I had a Fuji X-Pro1 it had a mechanical shutter cable socket, I used an automatic air freshener sprayer (airwick), a regular release cable, and a cheap RC car to make a remote shutter clicker.

With my Nikon D700 and N90s I use a Neewer remote rig that attaches to that weird connector above the PC flash connector.

I'd love to see some examples.
I've just started back shooting film with a 1947 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 Graflex with a 120 film back and want to do some time exposures.
