Dude, my Friend, I live 30 miles from Boston Ma. and I can assure you that there is not ONE single Chinese food restaurant selling Mac & Cheese here. This must be a regional thing, where do you live that they have Mac & Cheese listed on the menu alongside of the Beef Teriyaki and Egg Rolls ?
PS, my last outing was to my favorite Chinese food place, Quan's Kitchen, and thank gawd I wasn't served any Mac & Cheese with my pork fried rice and chicken chow mein |

I will confirm that ! No Mac & Cheese I know of in So. NH or Middlesex & Worcester Co. Mass I know of. Not even chop suey which is NOT
at all Chinese. When chop suey is on the menu its for the kids. Credentials : The TV shop was in a strip mall & next door to Joyce Chens Chinese groceries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joyce_Chen_(chef) Got to know the family well & they were the nicest people. Joyce had the first Chinese cooking show on WGBH #2 Boston. Used the same set as the French Chef. Her son Henry was educated & had a thick Harvard accent. It was strange to hear ! Anyhows they have confirmed mac & cheese & chop suey are NOT AT ALL Chinese ! May I recomend Helen Chens cook book. https://www.discoverbooks.com/Helen-...BoCmPMQAvD_BwE Great starter book for Chinese cooking at home. 73 Zeno ![]() LFOD ! Quote:
