It's getting hard to even give away CRT TV's

Yeah I've seen the same thing. The donation / charity thrift stores around here haven't been accepting CRT sets for about 5 years or more now cause the don't sell. It's a shame cause it was a great place to pick up sets for 5 bucks or less.
I used to go in there and stock up on 13" color sets with rotary tuners for surveillance monitors.

And the you can go on ebay and the same TV's are on there for a small fortune. Even the 12" B&W solid state sets fom the early 80's are going for a fortune from delusional sellers
