Yes, my bad. I meant the EM84. The 470K and the 1.8 meg both test in value, which was odd. The 470 actually had me lost for a bit because I could not find it. Turns out it's hiding inside the base for the tube.

I reseated the tube a few times and it started working again so it must of been a really weak connection. It's still not closing completely but with with an FM signal sitting next to the radio I get about -20v and it closes almost all the way now so I'm happy with that. It's already pretty dim.

Nice job MIPS !
Taming any German dial cord wins my respect. You are lucky you
didnt have to do a restring ! When any string job came in we passed
it on to a specialist. Only time he failed was a GE Superadio #1
