The composite alternating output voltage is coupled to the kinescope convergence electrode and focus electrode through the respective output taps. The vertical-deflection dynamic convergence amplifier circuit combines, shapes, and amplifies the parabola and sawtooth waveforms derived from the vertical-deflection circuit for application to the kinescope."
