Sams didn't use Magnavox model numbers on most of their tube and early solid state sets. Use the chassis number. Normally it's on a small trading stamp size sticker pasted to the back apron on the chassis. May start with "U", "RA", "TA".

Early 80's probably a C-5 or C-6. more ##'s after like C501-00-AB. Lots of cold joints on them around the HV. Zeno ![]() LFOD ! |

The chassis number is T815-09. Photofacts only lists:
T81501AA T81502AA T81503AA T81513AA The first three translate to Sams 1860-1, the last one to 2239-2, but I am not sure its what I need. I was able to determine this TV is from 1980 or 1981. Thanks! |

Someone explains exactly which Sams you need in that thread. Good luck. |

T815 was the older module sets. Much better & easier than the C5 & C6.
Date code some large OEM parts, wk/yy to date. I would bet its a late production so the highest SAMS probably closest. Zeno
