Here's some more photos

It was an international flavor this year, with presentations on television history from around the globe:


Gerhard Bauer spoke about a 441 line mechanical scanner and early magnetic tape sound recording in German Television (and in the process, singlehandedly destroyed the myth of the humorless German!)


Alex Magoun spoke on RCA's Transfer of Television Technology to the Soviet Union (destroying the myth of the humorless PhD / librarian.)


And John Trenouth brought a bit of British humor (sorry, I meant "humour") to middle America in "Alexandra Palace and the birth of BBC Television"


Here's a shot of David Carlstrom, who's presentation was "Dot Sequential Color"


Robert Lozier treated the crowd to a "History of Television Development in Italy"
