Very nice set. I have my eye on this one too since its within driving distance. It would be nice to have a nice non-combo roundie set.

Now _that_ is a nice set. Looks like polaraman is going for it though. I can't even hope to compete with him
. It's almost too nice though - it looks like it's in perfect condition. I'd love to get a roundie one of these days, but it would be fun to be able to do a little work on it too... Besides, I'd never be able to afford it anyway. I have a feeling this one's going to get expensive.Good luck polaraman - we're rooting for you! -Ian |

I am in Pennsylvania on vacation right now. The set will close before I have to go back to Georgia. Plus, it is on my way home. I decided to go for it.

that model had to be early 62" shortly after that they introduced the crt's with the bonded safety glass and anti-glare surface, by 1963 all crt's had the bonded glass both regular and ant-glare

Have it your way...
In 1962 RCA offered CTC-11 models with both the 21FJ bonded or the 21FB conventional tube. Both were the new all-sulfide higher brightness tube.
