I stumbled across a PBS show in progress the other day called "The History of Television Broadcasting" or some such. I wish I could have taped it from the beginning. There was a scene where a set that sure looked like this model was shown. The radio on the left looked a match and the rectangular screen on the right looked one size smaller with a lattice grillwork of some sorts over the grill cloth below. Perhaps this set being auctioned isn't a 'cluge' after all.

Anyone else here catch that program?

Rob,

This set originally had a 15" round tube, I can't remember the model name but was available around the same time as the Westminster. It would be a nice piece if it wasn't painted and had the original CRT.
