Identical to the set I grew up with but for the fact that my folks' set wasn't a roundie. Well, the cabinet wasn't exactly the same, but close. Decent performer (when it wasn't on the fritz) as long is it was fed by an antenna. The tuner in these was problematic; sensitivity was poorer in upper VHF channels, plus for some reason it's totally unsuitable to cable TV. Almost every channel on cable would have herringbones running through that no adjustment of the fine tuning would entirely eliminate.
